Cigar Taste Rating Scale

Cigars are of a personal nature, a direct relationship between the "cigar" and the individual. Every cigar is an individual experience; each of us searches for our Perfect Blend.
Our
"Cigar Taste Rating Scale" is to give you an approximate
guide as to the taste of the cigar related to it's
"body" or "strength". Different cigars have
different blends of tobaccos which give them different levels of
body such as "Light", "Medium" and
"Full".
A full-bodied cigar isn't strong or harsh, but
a "heavy" smoke may be tough for a beginner to handle
until they get used to cigars. Full-bodied cigars are usually aged
longer and have a higher tar and nicotine level which many people
need to work up to. In general, we recommend that beginners start
with mild to medium bodied cigars first. Some beginner smokers
appreciate full bodied cigars from the start, but this is usually
the exception to the rule.
